Your sole is the deck or "floor" in your boat's cabin or cockpit, and the space below it is your bilge. Seacocks are the valves that control water flow from outside the boat into engine cooling, refrigeration, air conditioning, wash down, and other systems. This article presents some views of the problems that can arise and ideas about maintenance for seacocks, hoses, and hose clamps. Keep the water out and keep the boat on top. |
