What's that smell - something burning?

We can't seem to live without 120-volt AC current from shore, especially here in TX where air conditioning is a necessity. We wouldn't think of connecting our house to the electrical grid without a licenced electrician. So why don't we take more care in connecting our boats. Here are some of the possible problems and how to avoid them.
